Dear all,

I need to create a new boundary condition for pointDisplacement similar to sixDoFRigidBodyDisplacement. What I have done is just copied the whole directory of sixDoFRigidBodyDisplacement into the same directory, changed the name, and passed the compilation. It is still depend on sixDoFRigidBodyMotion.

Then I recompiled the whole OpenFOAM-1.6-ext. But when I run the floatingObject case, it cannot find the new pointField. The error message is as below.

it works now.

I just move it to the user's folder, then it works. Quite strange. Everything is the same.

could you post your pointDisplacement file. I'm trying to do the same. I would like to let cylinder oscillates with 2 degrees of freedom. I need your help please. What are the steps?
