Hi everybody,

I am writing an extended abstract about effect of radiation on the solutions of sandia flame D with flamelet model. In the simulations of flame, i used rhoReactingfoam solver. I have to write governing equations of RhoReactingFoam for my extended abstract. But i couldn't find proper information about this. Is there any available source on web about this topic. Thanks for your help.

Best regards.

Hi,
You can find it in my Phd thesis:
http://ntnu.diva-portal.org/smash/re...35&dswid=-7167

or in one of these papers:

Lysenko, D.A., Ertesvåg, I.S., Rian, K.E., Numerical Simulations of the Sandia Flame D Using the Eddy Dissipation Concept, Flow Turbulence Combust, 93, 665–687 (2014)
Lysenko, D.A., Ertesvåg, I.S., Rian, K.E., Numerical Simulation of Non-premixed Turbulent Combustion Using the Eddy Dissipation Concept and Comparing with the Steady Laminar Flamelet Model, Flow Turbulence Combust, 93, 577–605 (2014)

I use my solver (http://www.edcpisofoam.decgroup.org/) which is based on RhoReactingFoam, so the equations should be the same.

Thx, Dmitry

Hi, I would like to ask is the RhoReactingFoam suitable for premixed combustion? I have tried reactingFoam in which the combustion model is PaSR, I would like to try the RhoReactingFoam but could you give me some information about how to use it?
