Hello everybody,
I am trying to modify the pimpleFoam solver so that a random perturbation is added at every time step once the momentum equation is solved. For this purpose I found the 'randomise' Field Function Object which looks appropriate for modifying a new field that I want to add as perturbation. Does anyone has any experience using this function? I am quite new both to OpenFOAM and C++ language and I cannot understand exactly how to include it in the solver code (if possible). What I did so far is to create a new field in createFields.H on which I would like this function to act on inside the main code. Also any other documentation of function which works in a similar way or any guide which explains this topic would be very helpful! |
