dear all
I want to add a viscous heating term to energy equation as below AnyBody can help me? Thanks it is non-newtonian fluid that n is fluid index, m is consis of fluid, cp thermal capacity,k conductivity and ,p is density. All is constant. Last edited by Hgholami; February 18, 2019 at 09:27. |

Maybe this pages can give you a hint of how to solve your problem:
adding viscous dissipation to openfoam solver https://cfd.direct/openfoam/energy-equation/ https://cpp.openfoam.org/v4/rhoCentr...8C_source.html |

Hey!
Since everything is a constant term, you just have to add these parameters in the createFields.H file and compile it. Add the value of each file in constant folder and run the simulation. |

Hello,
take a look at https://www.openfoam.com/releases/op...nd-physics.php You just have to add in fvOptions a "viscousDissipation" dict. regards, Olivier |
