Is there a solver or similar solver that can model the transfer of one phase of liquid to another phase, while also allowing for the solution of concentration profiles within the phases.
Like the evaporation of the water in brine improves the concentration of the salt |

Hello,
If you are using the ESI release (any version) or Foundation release (version 7 or lower), You can take a look at the Euler-Euler solvers such as reactingTwoPhaseEulerFoam or reactingMultiphaseEulerFoam. Also, in ESI release you have the VOF solver such as interCondensatingEvaporatingFoam. If you are using Foundation release (version 8, 9 or 10), You can take a look at Euler-Euler solver such as multiphaseEulerFoam. Thanks |
