minIter setting not being respected.

Please see the attached fvsolution file, in it I've set minIter and maxIter.
The minIter setting appears to be having no effect as the max number of iterations in the log file (also attached) for GAMG is 4, but then it goes to 3 and then to 2 later on in the file. So I assume I'm doing something wrong in how I trying to set this up or missed the point somwhere along the line, can anyone advise on how to make this work? Thanks. |

Hi,
I think the minIter option is only implemented in the extend version of OpenFOAM. It's easy to add this feature to the OpenFOAM Foundations version directly in the source code, but you must recompile parts of the code and it might give problems with future updates via Git. Martin |
