Dear all,
im a student and facing a refinement problem with the interDyMFoam during a parallel run. In the single run, the refinement utility works fine, as the mesh is only refined up to a refinement level of 3 according to the dynamicMeshDict (maxRefinement = 3). Areas in the mesh with a higher refinement level, e.g. around a snapped geometry, are not refined and keep their refinement level. ![]() But in the parallel run, the dynamicmesh works differently! Suddenly all areas in the mesh are refined with 3 refinement level addtionally. So the area around my snapped geometry with a refinement level of 4 gets an enormous refinement level of 7 ![]() ![]() Unfortunately I need a high refinement level at the beginning to snapp the geometry correctly... I guess there must be something wrong with the decomposePar-operation. So i checked my decomposeParDict and tried different operations (e.g. decomposePar-copyUniform) , but no success. Thanks in advance for your help... |
