Hello! I beginner with OpenFoam and I have so many questions.
I use fireFoam solver. If I run 2D case (see attachments) its run just fine. But if I try extend it to 3D (change blockMeshDict) fireFoam crashes with system error.
I don't understand where my mistake. Should I change something else beside mesh?
Please help me.

Hi nadezhda, and welcome to the forum.

I need to clarify somethings - were you running the 3D tutorial case for fireFoam?

What I understood (which may be incorrect) is that you took the 2D case, and replaced the files inside the "polyMesh" directory with those of the 3D case - in which case your solver will complain because variables were defined at specific boundaries.

Versem, you are right. I checked boundaries and found couple very stupid mistakes (like a wrong gravity direction etc). Shame of me. Thank you
