Hi guys,

Do you know what is dyadic product? for example:

(1 2 3) dyadic product (2 3 4)=?

I think it should be :
2 3 4
4 6 8
6 9 12
but the paper says it produces a second rank symmetric tensor.

This product is not symmetric: A_ij=a_i b_j, whereas A_ji=a_j b_i, which is not the same in general. You are correct. The article is not.
