Hello I am using MRFSimple foam to simulate a propeller kind of problem.
I am using k-w sst kind of boundary conditions. I am getting wrong results thought the residuals converge tat too after 2500 iterations.

The problem is that in the simulation the losses are not properly calculated. I need the result form the simulation for vallidation. I was wondering why the simulations are not correct and found this (http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/mai...lus-value.html) on the fourm which explains about z plus.

I am now getting a value of 10e-4 value rage for y plus. I am not sure how this can effect my simulation.

Can any one explain me how low (in the range of 10e-3) effect the simulation.

Regards
Aditya
