Pressure drop over packed bed is too high -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

tos New Member Join Date: Apr 2010 Posts: 7 Rep Power: 16	Hi, With the solver "twoPhaseEulerFoam" of OF version 2.3.x the pressure drop over a packed bed (inflow velocity < min. fluidization velocity) is too high. With the solver "compressibleTwoPhaseEulerFoam" of OF version 2.2.x the pressure drop was predicted correctly for inflow velocities below the min. fluidization velocity. Does anyone has an idea why? Thank you.
