Hi,
I am working on dieselFoam solver. I want atomization model active. So I did sprayproperties file in constant floder on, but I got the following error- --> FOAM FATAL ERROR: atomizationModel::New(const dictionary&, const spray&) : unknown atomizationModelType type on, constructor not in hash table Valid atomizationModel types are : 3 ( LISA blobsSheetAtomization off ) Plz guide in this regard. Thank you. |

Hi,
instead of just writing "on" at the atomizationModel in the sprayProperties, you have to define which atomizationModel you want to use. As OpenFOAM told you with the error message there are:
But I'm not sure if they work properly |

Hi umesh,
Have you solved your problem. I also want to use LISA atomization model, but have no idea on how to set the sprayproperties file, especially the part that related to the atomization model part. To use LISA model, what parameters do I have to specify in the spayproperties file? Can you please share some experiences. Thanks a lot in advance! |

Check the source code under ../src/lagrangian/dieselSpray/spraySubModels/atomizationModel/LISA/lisa.H there might be some literature suggestions.
