HI everyone
Is it possible to simulate flow over rotating objects like cylinder/compressor fans using openfoam version2.2.2 . If so can someone please provide me with some useful material to read so that i can understand and simulate the rotating case. Thanks. |

Hi Jetfire,
I'm not an expert on OpenFOAM or simulating rotating objects, but is it something like this you are looking for? http://www.slideee.com/slide/cfd-for...using-openfoam There should also be some tutorials on the rotating reference frame solvers (e.g. SRFSimpleFoam) in OpenFOAM that you can use to get started. |
