I need to implement following BCs on inlet face

Ux= 0 , Uy= 0 , dUz/dz =0

Any Ideas ?

Hi,

If Ux and Uy are constant only then the derivative in there respective direction that is dUx/dx = 0 and dUy/dy = 0 only hence you can specify velocity with zeroGradient at Inlet face.

hello sharma,

exactly, but I want to implement Ux and Uy equal exactly to zero other than constant value but Uz to be a constant value. Currently im running with zeroGradient conditions but it doesn't guarantee Ux=Uy=0

Am I correct
