Dear All,
I wonder if there is a way to use mesh refinement for a mesh produced by snappyHexMesh which contains not just hexa elements. Right now I get always an error from hexRef8.C that some of my cells has less than 8 vertices and my simulation is aborting. I wonder if this can be circumvented somehow, even with disabling the refinement for such cells. An other question: do anyone know if the extended version of OF can handle non-hexa meshes for refinement? Thank you in advance, Lilla |

In case of interest I managed to solve the problem with the help of the following tread:
http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...efinement.html I was just not looking for the right keywords, so it seems. Best, Lilla |
