Hello Sir,

I'm new in OpenFoam and would like to model a system which is known as ECAPS (Engine Combustion Air Preparation System). It is a C-shape duct in which there are two heat exchangers (Chiller and Heater) which are placed in it.

I want to solve this problem in OpenFOAM and the flow at the inlet is turbulent (Re = 2.5 * 10^5) and unsteady state heat transfer (solid fins and fluid region). The heat exchanger which consists of a few horizontal pipes attached to a vertical plate with fluid flowing in gaps between plates.

At inlet the different inputs like Velocity, Pressure and weather conditions (temperature and humidity) are provided and find the output of the system. Depending on this the heat exchangers are handled on or off alternatively.

I want to know which solver will be suitable for my case setup ?

Thank you!
