Hi all!!!

I am an experimentalist with some former experience with OpenFOAM. I am currently struggling to make a simple simualation work. The case is quite simple. An engine intake lip insde a rectangular mesh. I meshed it very simply with gmsh just to test the solver and to get the settings right. I used the sonicFoam RAS tutorial (NACA airfoil) to set up the case. Despite the fact that the case runs fine, the solver is actually not doing anything. I cant see any change in any of the variables in post processing and in the log file the number of iterations is 0 or sometimes 1 for most of the properties. I attached the start of the log file. I really dont know what I am missing.

Hope that someone could help me

Thank you so much!!

Edit: Can it be related to the fact that after I manually change front and back to empty the checkMesh utility results in :
Failed 1 mesh check??
