Dear Foamers,
for testing purposes I've restarted an LES case on a shared memory system. The first run could smoothly be started. With the optimal hierarchical decomposition strategy the simulation time that could be reached on the shared memory system was higher then the simulation time reached on a distributed memory system (dual socket octo Core AMD Magny Cours). Hence a restart of the LES on the shared memory system, which might be necessary for higher simulation times, gives this error: Code:
--> FOAM FATAL IO ERROR: [19] keyword writeFrequency is undefined in dictionary "/home/hpc/.../OpenFOAM/user-2.3.1/run/LES_test/processor119/system/controlDict" [19] [19] file: /home/hpc/.../OpenFOAM/user/run/LES_test/processor119/system/controlDict from line 0 to line 0. I had the same error message.
On my side it was because of a ';' missing at the end of one line (after the writeControl keyword) |
