Dear Foamers:
I would like an advice of yours for running a simulation of an incompressible fluid, in an enclosed structure; with a heat source, the fluid transfers heat from the source to the walls. I would like to use the HotRoom case but I cant find a description of it (type of solver, BC's ,etc, etc), also I would like to see cases where some of the appropiated solvers (of the standard solvers ; buoyantBoussinesqSimpleFoam) were ran, Best Regars, Igor |

You can take a look in the hotRoom tutorials case directory to infer what's going on. The solver is buoyantBoussinesqSimpleFoam. If you look in the "0" directory you will see all the initial-boundary conditions for the flow variables. In constant/polyMesh/blockMeshDict you will see how the mesh is generated and how the patches are named. In system/controlDict you will see the solver parameters. In system/setFieldsDict you will see how the initial temperature field is set. The "Allrun" script will run the whole simulation for you--creating the mesh, setting the initial temperature, then running the solver.
