hey
I am new to openFoam. I am trying to solve flow through pipe with constant heat flux and constant wall temperature and got the answer but when I check i found that value of nu 0.01 but actual value of nu for water (kinematic Viscosity) is 0.000001 so I changed it and now m getting the answer. please help me to sort this out I had modified icoFoam for solving this thanks in advanced vipin |

icoFoam has the basic cavity tutorial case. This lid driven cavity tutorial was designed to look good and not to give the correct results. The case runs flawless with nu = 0.01 and gives nicer results in terms of colourful pictures. That's all
Why did you modify icoFoam instead of using buoyant solvers or use scalar transport on a converged flow field? Cheers Fabian |
