Rising Star is on a distinguished road
I'm running this wave flume case on OpenFoam 2.2.2

https://www.dropbox.com/s/jzjtxrosmc...yM.tar.gz?dl=0

I'm using wavesDyMFoam to solve the case. If I'm considering a floating object of 0.25*0.25 m2, the simulation ends correctly without any issue. Unfortunately I have to simulate a floating object with the following dimensions: 1x0.01 m2 (a thin panel floating in the water), and if I try to modify the size of the floating object in my case the computation ends up far before 1 second. I've tried to extend only the length, or to shrink only the thickness, but I'm always facing enormous struggling.

What am I missing? Why if the object is squared the simulation proceed correctly but when it's rectangular it doesn't?

Thanks for any suggestion

Cheers
