Hello,
my intitial goal was to perform fsi for turbomachinery to check runner blade displacement. Due to an unexpected (as always) lack of time I am forced to simplify my problem a bit. What I want to do now: Apply a simulated (with MRFSimpleFoam) flow distribution as load for a stress model. I am not very familiar with the OpenFoam stress solvers, so maybe somebody could give me a hint to some useful tutorial. My geometry can be seen in the attached picture. The runner blade is the only solid part. I am grateful for any advice! Cheers, Amelie |

I've made some research and found solidEquilibriumDisplacementFoam and the tutorial beamEndLoad (I am using foam-extend-3.2)
Is it possible to apply the calculated pressure or velocity distribution from another case as the initial load to the solid runner blade? |
