Hi you all,

I tried modelling a circular cylinder with k-w SST model in pisoFoam, but results aren't so good... Cd is quite ok, instead St number is about three times is real value (0,2). Have you got any idea?
Inlet flow has Re=30470 and I=2%.

Thanks.

Hi,

I'm not sure if RANS turbulence modelling is well suited for getting the right Strouhal number. Just a guess...

Best regards,

Kate
