I need to model the inertial resistance upstream of an implicit inflow boundary condition in a tunnel.

I'm using a pressureInletOutletVelocity boundary condition to replicate an open boundary for the inlet, but i need some way to model the resistance to flow. Would a porous media be useful in this respect.

Has anyone else modelled a similar problem?
