chtMultiRegionSimpleFoam turbulent case

Dear All,

Kindly find attached the case and let me know if someone can help me out with this. Its a Shell and tube heat exchanger, i am using RNGkepsilon model.
I have generated mesh in icem and imported it in OpenFOAM (which took two months for me to figure it out how to import internal walls).

Now when i run the solver, i get the following error. My Master's Thesis depends on this.

It would be great help if someone can help me out with this.

Your simulation gains turbulence energy in every step. This may be due to an unfortunately formulation of your problem or due to incorrect boundary conditions.
I recommend to write the result every step and look at it with paraView. The regions which give the problems arise then. After that you have to check your model.

Hi,

I have looked at the case. A few quick things. Why the total temperature boundary condition instead of fixed value? Why is the flowRate defined on both inlet and outlet. Keep the inletOutlet Condition but delete the flowRate lines at the outlet. You define k as a fixedValue on both inlet and outlet. The boundary conditions are all mixed up.

And one last thing to consider. This is not a good mesh. remeshing with blockMesh would greatly improve your results!

Dear All,

I am still stuck with the same problem even though i have made the corrections mentioned in earlier comments, i am not able to get the results.
If someone has solved a similar case please contact me so that i can know where i am going wrong.
