Hello,
I want to do some particle tracking. I am considering that the particules do not affect the fluid flow. I can choose between these two solvers. When I am reading the .H files, I guess that icoUncoupledKinematicParcelFoam is for laminar flow, and the other one is for turbulent flow, am I right ? So I am opting for uncoupledKinematicParcelFoam but the problm is when I am lauching the command, it asks for thermophysicalProperties file. I don't have any heat transfer and my simulation is only about solid and water. I am guessing that uncoupledKinematicParcelFoam is considering that a gas is used. Is that right ? Does anyone is using one of these solvers ? Thanks ! P.S : So I decided to use icoUncoupledKinematicParcelFoam for my simulation. Is it right ? Does it take account turbulence ? Anyway, it should not matter because it does not solve the momentum equation again (?) |
