Hello everyone,

i would like to ask, if someone know how
Code:
cache
{
grad ( U ) ;
}
exactly works? Does grad ( U ) affect the turbulence intensity of my solution

when is it cached, while a time step will be calculated?

Will it just make it easier to get initial residuals at the start of a pimple Iteration?

Please give me some informations.

Im currently working om some scale resolving simulations for NDT airfoils and i must be sure that my results will be unaffected from this code-line.

I know that the simulations will run faster, when im using cache{ grad ( U ) ;} but i must be sure that my results wouldnt be artifically smoothed.
