Hello everybody,
I'm a new OPENFOAM user (OF4WIN17.10). I run a simulation of laminar flow (ICOFOAM) around a cylinder (2 m diameter) at Re=200 (U=1 m/s and nu=0.01 m^2/s). I've got a correct value of Cd - drag coefficient (between 1.35 and 1.45) by using forceCoeffs function (350 iterations with DT=0.05 s). However, with U=1.5E-03 m/s and nu=1.5E-05 m^2/s (same Re=200) the Cd coefficient turns out to be 1.30 (without oscillations). I would expect the same value. What did I wrong?
Thanks you
FBelosi
