Hey Foamers,
I'm new with OpenFoam and I'm dealing with a membrane distillation process and I have to model the coupled heat and mass transfer through the hydrophobic membrane ( only vapor can pass through it ) in OpenFoam.
But actually , I can not choose the adequate solver.
I've found while I'm searching 2 solvers :
- MembraneFoam : deals with membrane processes such as RO and FO
- PorousMultiphaseFoam.
I'm struggling to decide which solver is more suitabIe for my case knowing that i'm dealing with : phase change, heat transfer and diffusion transport at the same time.

Any ideas ? Suggestions ?
Thank you.
