Hello,

I am running a transient turbulent simulation using pimpleFoam. The turbulence model is k-omega-SST.

I am trying to make sure the solver does not impose a lower nonzero limit for the production term in k transport equation. When I set k to machine zero (meaning eddy viscosity = 0), the production term should go to zero.

I do this to obtain a laminar boundary layer development in a specific region of my computational domain.

Can anybody illuminate me on this issue?

Cheers,
Cyln

In the omega equation in kOmega.C one term is devided by k.
This is the reason why the minimum of k is SMALL.
