Hello all,
I am trying to model the dispersed phase holdup in an extraction column. My system is water and Tributyl Phosphate-Dodecane(TBP). The former is the continuous phase and the latter is the dispersed phase. Now i am trying to use twoPhaseEulerFoam for the simulation. What I find doubtful is the applicability of the different values in the "phaseProperties" file for my system. As for example the "bubbleColumn" tutorial uses water as continuous and air as dispersed phase. Accordingly they have set the value in the "phaseProperties" file. My doubt is for water-TBP system the values in "diameterModel", aspectRatio" model and all other models should be different. So my sincere submission to you people whether you can help me out in this condition by providing me the tentative values of the different model constants for a liqui-liquid sytem or by providing me the documentation about these models where I can find the appropriate values for my system. Regards |
