Hi!
I'm wondering if openfoam has ever been used to simulate plasma coating processes such as physical vapour deposition (PVD) or magnetron sputtering. I'm curious if anyone has gotten electrostaticFoam to work with these physics? Or, perhaps another physics solver? As far as I can see, there's only one youtube video on the subject: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-qdLP7xJWw Edit: Thus far, there's a university paper published using dsmcFoam: SIMULATING PHYSICAL VAPOUR DEPOSITION ON STEEL SUBSTRATE USING THE DIRECT SIMULATION MONTE CARLO (DSMC) METHOD https://www.researchgate.net/publica...LO_DSMC_METHOD Much appreciated, Thomas Last edited by tmik; September 18, 2018 at 11:25. |
