hello,

currently working on a free flow convection case in a room using buoyantPimpleFoam solver with radiation. There is an inlet and an outlet all is at ambient temperature 303K with different heat load intesities. I'm interested in verifying that the heat stratification is not excessive.

I am trying to set the heating load of the room using a region of 2 meters high from the ground through fvOptions. For instance 15 W/m3 in that zone.

It seems I can only set h as an injectionRateSuSp. Would anyone know how to calculate it in my case?

heat
{
type scalarSemiImplicitSource;
active true;

scalarSemiImplicitSourceCoeffs
{
cellSet heat;
selectionMode cellSet;
volumeMode specific;
injectionRateSuSp
{
h (10000 0);

}
}
}
