Hi Foamers,
I updated my ubuntu system from 16.04 to 18.04 recently and I found that the running time has been prolonged a lot. I utilized a same OF version (v6), a same solver (writed by myself) and a some case that has been decomposed into a same number of processors. Results show that the two cases share a same serial of deltaTs. However, the ClockTimes of them are substantially different. Under ubuntu 16.04 the total time is approximately 3800s and that of ubuntu 18.04 is almost three times of it. I don't know what's happened and this is the first time I install ubuntu 18.04. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks a lot. WDX. |
