Hey guys,
I really want to simulate a compressible flow and the species distribution. I so far calculated a rocket nozzle flow with rhoCentralFoam and the simulation is running really good. Now I would like to calculate the species distribution because inside the gas which I considered so far as a mixture you have actually different species such as H2, CO2, .... . To calculate a species distribution is as far as I know not possible in rhoCentralFoam if I am not mistaken. I heard that there is a optimized version of rhoCentralFoam called rhoCentralReactingFoam. Does anyone know if it is working with this solver and does anyone of you have this solver and a tutorial case? I would be very very thankfull. Have a nice day. Kind regards, Felix |

Hi Felix,
I am looking for the same thing to perform a similar analysis. You can find the solver rhoCentralReactionFoam in this thread: rhoCentralFoam transport equation Unfortunately, there are no tutorials and the solver is not completely correct, as it is explained by CrisA in the thread. Tommy |
