Hi everyone,
I was wondering whether anyone knew whether there was an implementation of the mixing plane approach to rotor-stator interactions which had been implemented for OF. I've been out of the OF loop for a little while and wondered there might have been some work on supporting these kinds of (turbomachinery) based problems in the meantime. I think there was some work by some members for hydro turbine applications, but this was done on a fork (foam-extend) of the original project. if so, would anyone have a view as to how difficult / whether it would be tractable to port this code over (if it was finished) - thinking of other libraries / changes which might have been done in the extend-project which were not in the "original" OF repo's. thanks a lot in advance for any input, regards jonathan PS If this functionality is not available, is anyone currently using OF 7 project to do turbomachinery work and if so, how have you solved this problem for this (steady-state) approach . Thanks again in advance |
