Dr. Google is your best friend.

action invert seems to invert the selection, i.e., it select cells not belonging to the highlighted set.

See, e.g.
Problem with topoSet Item#3
or
Porous Media using TopoSet Item#4

Hello dlahaye

Thank you so much for your comments. Typically, the reference e.g. is so useful for me to my question. I am trying to be familiar with this site contents and learn to find the information that I am looking for. Basically, I have reviewed user manuals, tutorials and youtube. I don't have a background for C+ language. Could you recommend any basic reference to catch up the commander used in OpenFOAM? Anyhow, thanks again.

Dear Dlahaye

You're a great mentor and helper for me like new OpenFOAM user. Thank you for helping me out; I really appreciate your kindness and support.

Typically, the linked youtube helps me a lot to understand the structure of C++ language.
