[Manuel CFD]

Hi All,


I would need to run a simulation of droplets-to-film interaction in a rotating frame of reference using OpenFOAM 8. I have seen that the reactingParcelFoam solver can handle a rotating frame of reference for what regards the solution of the continuous (gas) phase and the lagrangian droplets. However, I couldn't find where the effects of the rotating frame of reference are taken into account for the wall liquid film. Are they accounted for? If not, how could these be included in a simple way? Adding a new force model for it?
