Hey all, I have been working with overset meshes for a while and have not had this issue before. For ease of viewing I have removed the object from the overset mesh, it does not affect the issue.
The figures contain only a background and overset mesh. The overset mesh is being rotated using the Tabulated6DOFMotion solver. The overset mesh has as patch type overset for all boundary conditions and initial conditions. I am using cellVolumeWeight for the oversetInterpolation method. The dynamicFvMesh is a dynamicOversetFvMesh. My question to the community is: Why are the cells inside my overset mesh not interpolating the values from the background mesh? Let me know if I need to provide more details of the simulation. |
