Hello everyone,
I'm quite new on CFD and especially OpenFOAM, that is why I'm requesting your help and advices. I'm aiming to simulate a fan (actually a wind machine that is like big fan at a small wind turbine size: 10m height and blade span of 5m). I have planned to use Actuator Disk method to model my wind machine but to have a complete model of it, I would like to add the rotating speed of the WM. Indeed, the wind machine rotates on itself by 360° on and on and on. I was thinking of using AMI but I don't know if I can actually apply it to an actuator disk or if there is a simpliest way to achieve to add the motion to my wind machine. I haven't found anything on rotating/oscillating fan, I only found topics about wind turbine and static fan. Thank you for your help, Looking forward your answers Clara |
