Hello.
I'm a beginner using openfoam. This is what I want to solve. I have two layers of incompressible flow. I want to define the value of the velocity at the interphase (ub) using a function that depends in the average velocity of the bottom layer (u). Please have a look on the attachment to have a better idea ub=f(u). First, I want to try that boundary condition using the same liquid (layer1 and layer 2 are the same) and then, I want to try two different liquids (liquid of layer2 denser than liquid 1). I'd like to know if that is possible in openFoam, I need to be able to set the value of the velocity at the interphase. I was considering to use Interfoam but I'm struggling to set that conditions in the interphase for the velocity. Thank you for your help in advance. |

you can analyze the velocity of the interface after the simulation with paraview
