Dear All,
First of all, I'm sorry for the poor sentences because I don't speak English as my mother tongue. And my first post. I'd like to simulate the phenomenon that inject gas into supersonic flow as shown in attached image. This is a simulation injection at pressure ratios of 15 and 20 into M2.9 flow using sonicFoam. Flow field and injection gas are same ideal gases. However, I searched for a way to change the type of gas that erupted, but could not find it. ![]() I'm also thinking about using twoPhaseEulerFoam for this problem, and I'm working on it, but I get the following error and can't simulate. Code:
--> FOAM FATAL ERROR: (openfoam-2012) Requested dispersed phase from an unordered pair. From virtual const Foam::phaseModel& Foam::phasePair::dispersed() const in file phasePair/phasePair.C at line 87. FOAM exiting Is this impossible? Thank you. |

I think that sonicFoam is not applicable for two phases.
Have a look here for suggestions of solvers, e.g. rhoReactingFoam? Gas injection in another gas |

Hi David,
Thank you for your reply. I overlooked rRF solver because there was no its tutorial in v2012. I'll give it a try. Thank you! Satium |
