Help with 6dof large angular velocity, diverged results

Hi, I'm trying to simulate a wing with body tail doing a pitch up motion. Due to the lift of the wing in front of the CG, this will cause the whole wing body tail to pitch up.
Hence, the constraints are: Code:
fixedPoint { sixDoFRigidBodyMotionConstraint point; centreOfRotation (0. 0. 0.); } fixedAxis { sixDoFRigidBodyMotionConstraint axis; axis (0 0 1); } I managed to run for ~ 0.05s, after which the angular velocity gets bigger and bigger and eventually the solution diverged. I tried a few things as recommended in the forum: 1. changing innerDistance/outerDistance from 0.3/1.0 to 0.5/5.0 2. accelerationRelaxation from 0.6 to 0.3 3. Trying Newmark, CrankNicolson, symplectic I don't know what else I can do. Any other suggestions? Thanks. |
