Hi, everyone
I have faced a problem when trying to run my case in parrallel in openfoam-2.3.x. I have tried all methods that I could find in the Internet. My case can run in serial. And the tutorial case damBreak in openFoam can run in parallel. And command, foamJob -p -s Test-parallel, returns normal .log file, which means the MPI performs normally. Then I try changing my processor to 2, surprisingly my case can run in parallel, which is quite strange to me. Because I'm completely new to MPI or anything about parallel. But only for 2. However, once more than 2 processors, it would not work in parallel. I don't know how to deal with this problem anymore. Anyone knows how to solve it? or any other possible solutions I could try? I would be really appreciated. Or anyone wants to discuss it together? the error be like: Fatal error in MPI_Sendrecv: Message truncated, error stack: MPI_Sendrecv(230).................: MPI_Sendrecv(sbuf=0x7930490, scount=14400, MPI_BYTE, dest=MPI_PROC_NULL, stag=4, rbuf=0x7933ce0, rcount=14400, MPI_BYTE, src=1, rtag=4, MPI_COMM_WORLD, status=0x715430) failed MPIDI_CH3U_Receive_data_found(129): Message from rank 1 and tag 4 truncated; 15360 bytes received but buffer size is 14400 |
