Hello Foamer,
It has been a long-lasting challenge to deal with bounding error. Regarding the tips and tricks and all the threads provided, I've tired most of them including but not limited to mesh refinement, playing with schemes and solutions. I am searching for a more global solution for this problem. In to how many factors we can reduce this issue? Is there any explanation based on your experiences? I should mention that I am dealing with a high-level of implementation in solver (pimpleFoam) and some changes in RMS models for my case studies. I know it can be regarded as one of the sources of injection of flaws into the code resulting in bounding error. I must add that, since I am using RSM's (SSG, specifically), the bounding error would be bounding epsilon. So, it may narrow down the issue and I hope I can provide you wit more details if you are interested to talk about. Regards, Sina |
