"endTime" 1000 iterations in controlDict is questionable

From running a tutorial case out of the box I expect results as published:
https://www.openfoam.com/documentati...ts-temperature

In controlDict the "endTime" is 1000 iterations.

But only by increasing from 1000 to 10000 iterations I got similar results as published.

Until 1000 iterations the heat transfer has not balanced and thus temerature ist still rising.
Balancing process has finished to an acceptable extent until 10000 iterations.

No problem to me.
But beginners at their very first steps with CFD and/or OpenFOAM might enter the trap.

My Questions:
Is the low iteration count of 1000 set on purpose by the tutorial authors?
Is there good reason to keep it at 1000 or should it be changed to get matching results out of the box?
