Hi,
I'm trying to simulate a plane with an initial incoming velocity. Due to drag, it's supposed to slow down over time. Can we simulate this problem with OF and 6dof? So assuming that the plane body is fixed wrt to the domain with an initial incoming speed. At each timestep, the drag force is calculate from OF and with the wt of the plane know, we can calculate its deceleration and hence reduction in speed. Then we can update its incoming BC to the new lower speed. Is this feasible or has someone done it before? Thanks! |
