Hello everyone
I am a beginner of OpenFoam, when I try to run the simulation of a Axisymmetric Near-Sonic Jet from NASA (LINK: https://turbmodels.larc.nasa.gov/jetnearsonic_val.html). The simulation always stops right after it starts: --> FOAM Warning : From function virtual void Foam::wedgePolyPatch::calcGeometry(Foam::PstreamBu ffers&) in file meshes/polyMesh/polyPatches/constraint/wedge/wedgePolyPatch.C at line 70 Wedge patch 'wedgeBack' is not planar. Thank you so much. |

Seems that temperature reaches unrealistic high values (judging from error message).
Suggest to: 1/ limit temperature. Search this forum on how to; 2/ replace rhoSimpleFoam (stationary) with rhoPimpleFoam (transient). Check whether using smaller time steps works out; 3/ use finer mesh; Good luck. |
