Hi all,
I'm trying to make a simple overset mesh case - a thin plate moving in a water tank. The water tank is 8m wide and 11m high. The thin plate is 0.1m wide and 5m high. The water depth is set as 5.5m in this case. Besides, the maxCo and maxAlphaCo are both 0.1, and adjustTimeStep is set as "yes". The case ran for a while and then suddenly crashed. In the log file which is uploaded in ImportantFiles.zip, I didn't see the rapid increase in Courant number. Moreover, the result seemed to be fine in paraview as shown in the attachments. Other files related to my case are also uploaded in the .zip file. What might be the reason that cause the crash? Any hints will be appreciated! |
