Does the timesteps affeect the result

hi,
when i calculate my case,first i set the timestp with 0.005,and then i set it with 0.001,i get different result,what i want to know :
does the timesteps affeect the result?

Surely, it DOES, significantly, actually time step is one of the most important input parameters for finite difference, if you are completely new to CFD, take a look at the Courant-Levy-Freiderich condition in wiki
